Deputies: Three Teens Arrested for Burglarizing Home

Three teenagers, who Orange County Sheriff’s deputies say were armed, and who forced their way into a home and robbed a female victim on Thursday afternoon, have been arrested.

Investigators said, 17-year-old Jose E. Soto* and Moises I. Soto and Lorenzo Mario McIntosh, both 18 years, donned masks and forced their way into a residence on Delcrest Drive in Orlando just before 2:00 pm, demanding money and other items from a female who had come to the door.

A witness told investigators several persons were seen entering a nearby street, parked a vehicle on Longandale Drive and then began changing clothes. The witness also told investigators the suspects jumped a fence close by.   Moments later, deputies received a call from the home that was burglarized.

Deputies who had arrived at the location where the getaway vehicle was parked, were able to apprehend Jose Soto, Moises Soto, and Lorenzo McIntosh, when they returned to the car.

Investigators said, the suspects tried to flee upon seeing deputies waiting at the vehicle, but a K-9, called to the scene was able to track all three to a nearby shed. Deputies said, one of the suspects received dog bites.

Moises Soto and Lorenzo Mario McIntosh were booked into the Orange County Jail on Thursday night around 9:30 pm.  The have been charged with home invasion robbery with a firearm and mask, grand theft, possession of a firearm, burglary of a structure, and resisting an officer without violence. 17-year-old Jose Soto, will likely face similar charges.
