The Delta Xi Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity Inc. will host its 3rd annual “Wine & Cheese Experience” Fundraiser on Saturday, April 12th at Majestic Event Center (Crowne Ballroom) located on 801 N. John Young Parkway, Orlando Florida. All proceeds will go to the March of Dimes. It will feature unlimited wine, cheese and appetizers, The Cu-Bop Latin Jazz Quartet from 9-11pm and music from DJ Kyle LaRue from 11pm-1am. This event will be followed by members participating in the March of Dimes Walk Saturday, April 26th, 2014.
In 2013, Delta Xi Lambda raised $10,000 thru contributions and our 2nd annual “Wine & Cheese Experience” Fundraiser that had over 250 guests to support March of Dimes. This chapter understands that money is needed in the community to help mothers have healthy full term pregnancies, and also fund research that helps prevent: premature birth, visual, lung and neural tube defects and also increase the survival rates for pediatric hearts.
