A car was stolen from Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs’ house early Sunday morning. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said neither the personal car nor the thief has been located and deputies are searching for whoever is responsible.
According to reports, Mayor Jacobs’ husband provided police with home surveillance video. He said the car may have been mistakenly left unlocked.
The Sheriff’s Office said there have been other similar car break-ins in the area recently. Crime can strike anywhere in the Orlando region, even the County Mayor’s house.
