Orange County courthouses will be closed for four hours Friday, to honor the memory of Lydia Gardner, Clerk of Courts, who passed away last week.
The courthouses will be closed to all clerk of court business between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday. This includes the main courthouse, juvenile and branches, Cfnews13.com reports.
Gardner, 65, died on May 8, following a long battle with cancer. Â She was Clerk of Courts for over ten years.
Mrs. Gardner was an honest, loving, capable mother, co-worker, family member, and friend. I admired her greatly as I worked with her and her “KIDS” at Winter Park High School. She will be greatly missed!
