The Hispanic Business Initiative Fund (HBIF) recently announced the winners of its 14th Annual Success Stories Luncheon. At a luncheon featuring State of Florida CFO Alex Sink as the keynote speaker, with brief speeches also made by City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and Orange County Mayor Richard Crotty, the three winners were congratulated for their inspiring stories of success as small business owners.
Governor Crist Recognizes OCSO, FDLE’s Investigators
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office Sex Crimes Squad and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Orlando Regional Operations Center were recognized by Governor Charlie Crist today in Tallahassee during the annual Florida Missing Children’s Day ceremony for their outstanding work during an investigation into the May, 2009 home invasion and attempted sexual abuse of a four year old girl.

Lake Silver Elementary Muralists To Create Fun Environment
