Health Care Reform, Nothing Into Something
Everything that sparkles and glitters is not gold! The American people got a little of what they wanted in health care service and coverage improvements but greedy insurance companies got 90% of what they wanted. The main thing the insurance thieves got was the rejection of a “public option” which would have given competition to private insurance companies.
Modern Day Mau Maus
Today, some 50 or 60 years later, there are still people of African descent that love other races more than they love their own. We have friends, neighbors and even family members that will believe in their enemies more than they believe in each other, support their exploiters more than they support members of their own race and cherish their abusers and love their modern day oppressors more than they love you.

There are a lot of Black people that are doing the “Stanky Leg” buck dance for non-Black elected officials and candidates that merely pretend to be friends, supporters and benefactors of African Americans!
Political Jokes
During the last federal election we heard a lot of campaign talk about how lobbyists would not be allowed to maintain their status quo. Well, they’ve gotten better. Or, should I say worse! If the people want strong representation in Washington, D.C. perhaps they should elect lobbyists because the elected public servants don’t vote for what is best, they vote for whatever their largest campaign contributors tell them to vote for.

Every day I hear people saying the best way to help the Black people in Haiti is to send money to white folk or to agencies controlled by whites like The Red Cross and the Bush-Clinton relief effort. To contribute to those types of organizations is ONE WAY, not necessarily the very best way!
Political Vampires
Add Chicago to the growing list of cities that have had extremely low voter turnout and especially low turnouts of Black voters in elections since Barack Obama’s historic election a year or so ago. Black and non-Black candidates don’t talk to, or listen to, Black political professionals. Instead they suck up to modern-day political vampires that suck the political contributions, political expenditures and the life blood out of every Black and well wishing non-Black candidates they can find.
