DP Swimming Sweeps Olympia
Four days after getting edged out of the champion’s circle at Spruce Creek, Women’s Swimming defeated Olympia in a head-to-head meet 162-143 . DP (3-0) won all eleven events with three swimmers capturing first place in two events: Angela Algee (50 free and 100 free), Emily Kliewer (200 free and 100 fly) and Allie Magrino (200 IM and 500 free).
Dr. Phillips Volleyball Defeats Evans
Women’s Volleyball rolled to a quick sweep of visiting Evans, 25-5, 25-10, 25-7 Monday night. Rachel Sawyer registered five digs, five aces and four kills, Hannah Schaible posted five digs, four aces and a pair of kills, Emily Morrell notched five kills and Kelly Rocklein finished with four kills and an ace.
DP Swimming Sets Records at Spruce Creek Record Breaker; Football Cruises at Homecoming
DP Men’s Swimming set four meet records on the way to a dominating first place finish at the Spruce Creek Recordbreaker Invitational. Sophomore Evan Staton finished with two individual first place finishes, shattering the 50 freestyle meet record in 22:01 and crushing the field in the 100 breaststroke (1:01.51).
Dr. Phillips Swimming and Men’s Bowling Stay Undefeated
Men’s Swimming improved to 2-0 yesterday with a convincing home victory over West Orange, 194-96. Double winners included Ian Perkins (100 fly and 500 free), John Meisenheimer (50 free and 100 free) and Evan Staton (200 free and 100 breast) while Chris Ohe (100 back) and Eduardo Macias (200 IM) also brought home victories for the Panthers.

Senior running back Eric Harrell rushed for 129 yards and three touchdowns and junior Deionte Gaines ran for 105 yards and a score to lead DP Football to a 28-8 victory over host Wekiva.
