About Vibert White

Dr. Vibert White graduated from Bethune-Cookman University (1980), Purdue University (1982) and The Ohio State University (1988). Currently, he serves the University of Central Florida as an Associate Professor of Public History. His major contribution as a professional historian is in the areas of American, African-American, Caribbean-Latin American, Public History and Historical Archaeology. He has authored widely on the aforementioned topics, created scores of major exhibits for museums and historical societies throughout the United States, as well as internationally, while show casing his works on networks such as the History Channel, PBS, CBS and NPR. Dr. White is a prolific writer that has been published in several academic journals. He is the author of the academic bestseller, Inside the Nation of Islam.
