Orlando Recognizes ZORA! Festival

The City of Orlando recognized Eatonville Mayor Bruce Mount, N. Y. Nathiri, Zora Neale Hurston, Festival of the Arts & Humanities, and Dr. Irina Morozova, Russian State University for the Humanities Department of History and Literature.  Mrs. Nathiri discussed the 24th Zora Neale Hurston Festival of the Arts and Humanities (ZORA! Festival 2013).

Two of Dr. Morozova’s students were also in attendance from Russia to experience ZORA! Festival 2013.

City officials praised the festival and called the ZORA! brand international. Mayor Mount encouraged everyone to attend this year’s “global festival.”

The city presented a proclamation and officials extended congratulations and took a group picture.

    I can hardly believe that next year the ZORA! festival will be 25! Good work N.Y. Nathiri truly the seeds planted by Zora bloom in your hands!
