Deflated Mitt Romney blimp-like aircraft crashes in field in Davie, Florida
High winds forced a blimp-like aircraft carrying a Mitt Romney campaign message to crash in a field in Davie, Florida, Sunday night, authorities said.
The thermal airship had a photo of the GOP presidential challenger and the slogan, “America Needs Romney,” and crash landed in the 3800 block of Southwest 92nd Avenue around 7:30 p.m., Davie Police spokesman Captain Dale Engle said, nbcmiami.com reported.
No one was injured as the deflated airship crashed to the ground.
