Orange County Tax Collector Earl K. Wood Dies at 96

Orange County Tax Collector, Earl K. Wood, died early on Monday morning, according to a news release.

Wood, who was 96 years when he passed away, served the County for nearly five decades, after being first elected in 1964.

In a news release from his office, county officials hailed Wood as “a great leader and friend to many.”

Wood was serving his 11^th continuous term as Orange County Tax Collector, when he died.
