More Bloodletting in Orange County: Deputies ID Victim Shot Dead During Dispute
An altercation between two men on Saturday led to one man being shot dead in the 900 block of 20th Street on Saturday.
23-year-old Timothy Hobby was shot and killed, after he confronted an unnamed man around 3:00 p.m. Deputies say, Hobby had a previous dispute with the shooter and had gone to the residence to confront him with the intention of causing bodily harm.
During the altercation with the shooter, Hobby was shot and killed.
At the time of the shooting, deputies say, two witnesses fled the scene, but have since been located and interviewed.
Investigators have not said what was the nature of the altercation between the shooter and Hobby.
It is not clear if the shooter will be charged with a crime, as the investigation continues.
