Deputies Investigate Dead Body Found Inside Vacant Home

Orange County deputies say, the body of a man was found in a vacant home on Thursday evening.

The body was discovered when the home owner went to the residence at 6709 Meritmoor around 7:30 p.m.

Investigators also say, a fire had been set inside the residence, but was extinguished by the time the homeowner arrived.

Detectives have not released any information on how the man was killed or how the fire was set.

The identity of the victim has not been released.
