Titans wide receiver O.J. Murdock died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound this morning in Tampa, police said, tennessean.com reported

Murdock, 25, was found alone in his car in front of Middleton High School, at 8:30 a.m., police also said. He was transported to Tampa General Hospital in critical condition and pronounced dead at 10:43 a.m.

Police received a 911 call from an individual reporting that he heard a gunshot from a vehicle parked near the school, Tampa police said.  Murdock was found with a gunshot wound to the head.
