Siplin, Robinson to Hold Emergency FCAT Town Hall
Falling FCAT scores and the controversy surrounding the changed grading criteria of the test, have prompted Sen. Gary Siplin (D-Orlando) to host an emergency town hall meeting with the Florida Department of Education Commissioner, Gerard Robinson.
The emergency FCAT town hall meeting will take place on Sunday, May 27, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., at the Evans High School Auditorium, 4949 Silver Star Road.
“Commissioner Robinson will be in attendance to speak and answer questions about the recent changes with the FCAT and its recent unfortunate scores,” an advisory from Siplin’s office stated.
