Cady Way Trail: Burnt Bodies are 2 Young Males
Deputies have still not positively identified the two bodies found burning near the Cady Way Tail on Sunday.
Investigators confirmed though, the bodies are those of two young males.
As detectives investigated the burning bodies following a 911 call around 7:00 a.m., a small fire broke out at the Sun Bay Apartments near a storage shed not far from the crime scene.
Investigators determined that the storage shed fire was connected to the ongoing investigation of the two burned victims, discovered near Cady Way Trail, off Aloma Avenue.
Deputies are being tight lipped about how the young men ended up being burnt to death. They have not released the 911 audio tape, but could do so later this week.
On Monday afternoon, investigators shut down Cady Way Trail in both directions near the scene of the homicide investigation.
According to a statement from OCSO, homicide detectives, forensics investigators and patrol units returned to the scene in an effort to collect additional information.
The investigation is ongoing.
