“Voice of NASA” to address local FPRA
You’ve heard her voice narrating many of the launches at the Kennedy Space Center. On Friday, NASA Director of Public Affairs Lisa Malone will share her 25 years of experience in Public Affairs with members of the Orlando Area Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA).
The event takes place Friday, January 26, from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at the University Club, 150 E. Central Blvd in downtown Orlando.
Malone will discuss her various roles within NASA’s public affairs department including the news and events leading up to the end of the space shuttle program. As Director of Public Affairs, Malone is responsible for overseeing news media, television, web, social media, exhibits and internal communications. She has worked with hundreds of media representatives from worldwide news organizations who cover America’s space program.
