Fresh From Florida: A Holiday Celebration
Spectators flocked to Downtown Orlando to observe the display of breathtaking floats, marching bands and performance groups in the Fresh From Florida Parade, formerly known as the Orlando Citrus Parade. An annual event, the Parade began more than twenty-five years ago as a holiday celebration to welcome the teams that would play in the Capital One Bowl and Champs Sports Bowl.

Orlando Passenger Killed in Two Vehicle, Hit & Run Accident
Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly accident. It happened just before 4:30 a.m. Saturday in Orange County near the intersection of Balboa Drive and Hiawassee Road. Witnesses told troopers a 2012 Chevy Camaro heading westbound on Balboa approaching Hiawassee Road, slammed into a 2001 Toyota Camry that was traveling north on Hiawassee, approaching Balboa. Witnessses said, the driver of the Chery Camaro ran the red light.

An Orlando motorcyclist was killed on Edgewater Drive near Lee Road in Orange County, after he was hit by a vehicle on Friday afternoon.
New Destiny Calls Out Riva Tims
One day after Pastor Riva Tims declared in a press conference that she is the “real mother” of the New Destiny Christian Center (NDCC), and that a lawsuit had been filed to block the installation of Senior Pastor Paula White, as the successor to the late Pastor Zachery Tims, the board has fired back indicating that the suit is “completely without merit.”

Pastors, Prayers & Pride as Pine Hills Welcomes New Evans HS
Community members, including scores of pastors in the Pine Hills and surrounding areas, participated in a prayer and community walk of the multi-million dollar new Evans High School on Friday. The new state-of-the art campus on Silver Star Road will house some 2,200 students when its doors open on January 3, but students and parents are expected to receive an orientation later today.
