Man Arrested for Robbery, Kidnapping and Rape in East Orlando
On Tuesday afternoon, a man robbed and kidnapped a woman at gunpoint as she left a Target store in East Orlando, driving the victim to a separate location where he sexually assaulted her, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies said.

On Tuesday there was a hearing in the Orange County court in the civil suit brought by Zenaida Gonzales against Casey Anthony, the mother charged with first degree murder in the death of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee. No decision has been made when the civil case would be heard, but it is likely to be early in 2011.

Gelber Calls Florida House GOP “Callous”
The Florida House failed to take up legislation that would have allowed renters more time to find a new place if their landlord was being foreclosed upon, although the Senate passed the measure. Senator Dan Gelber said he believes that the House did not take up the bill because more members are “callous” toward renters, than not.
