A mother, along with other family members, who went to her daughter’s school today to defend her, ended up being arrested after she got into a fight with class mates, Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies said.

Lutricia A. Crutchfield-arrested

According to OCSO:

On March 18th, at approximately 10:30 am, Orange County Deputies arrested Ms. Lutricia Crutchfield, 39 years, for battery and trespass on school property.

Ms. Crutchfield told deputies she received a text message from her daughter advising her that some girls at Oakridge High School were going to “jump her” following 2nd period.  Ms. Crutchfield arrived at the school with other family members and waited in the parking lot.  She observed her daughter exiting the building and being battered by other female classmates.  The school administrators attempted to break up the fight, however, Ms. Crutchfield intervened battering one of the students.  She was arrested and charged with battery and trespass on school property.

Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Truancy Unit, Motors, Patrol, Mounted and additional School Resource Officers were present at dismissal to prevent any other altercations.
