Conception Much Harder for Women over Age 30
A recent study suggests that, when women reach 30 years their eggs are a mere 12 percent of what they had at birth. Researchers out of the University of St. Andrews and Edinburgh University have collected data on 325 women from the U.K., U.S. and parts of Europe. The women represented a broad range of ages and had their reserve of eggs assessed.

A man stabbed another in the back of his neck following an argument early Tuesday morning and Orange County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for two persons of interest.
Bad Sex Leads to False Rape Claim
Two Tennessee women who accused a man of rape subsequently recanted, admitting that they had consensually agreed to sex with him in exchange for a pack of cigarettes. One woman told investigators that the two filed a false police report because they “didn’t enjoy the sex,” according to cops.

Growth in Fourth Quarter ’09 Exceeds Expectations
The U.S. economy grew by 5.7 percent in the fourth quarter of 2009, after expanding by 2.2 percent in the previous quarter, the U.S. Department of Commerce-Bureau of Economic Analysis said today in a statement. The strong fourth quarter growth exceeded the expectations of many economists who had projected 4.7 percent real GDP growth and is the fastest pace since 2003.
Cops Scoop up Drug Dealers
Orange County law enforcement agencies, in a major drug sweep targeting drug dealers, traffickers and buyers, have arrested 353 persons in a one week operation. The operation which took place during the week of January 18th to 23rd was coordinated through the Orange County Coalition for a Drug Free Community Law Enforcement Committee, Orange County Government, Orange County Sheriff’s Office and local and state law enforcement agencies in Orange County.
