Orlando Man Found Shot Dead in Parking Lot

A man was shot dead late last night in a parking lot and Orange County Sheriff’s detectives said so far, they are not clear on the motive for the shooting.

On January 26th, at approximately 11:55 P.M. the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center received a 9-1-1 call from 1861 Dunwoodie Place Apartments, in reference to shots fired.

Deputies responded to the scene and found a black male lying on the parking lot.  The victim was pronounced dead at scene by fire rescue personnel. At this time, Orange County Sheriff’s detectives are not clear on the motive for the shooting.

The victim was identified as Deshay Lamar Jackson, 28 years.

The investigation is ongoing.
