Seven OCPS Teachers receive 2009 Excel Award
The Foundation for Excellence in Education selected seven teachers from Orange County Public Schools to receive the 2009 Excel Award.
The teachers were chosen based on proven success in the classroom. Winners were selected based on the degree of progress in reading or math demonstrated by their students on the FCAT for the last three consecutive years. Data was provided to the foundation by the Florida Department of Education.
