Golfer Tiger Woods Seriously Injured in Crash

Florida Highway Patrol said that Golfer Tiger Woods was seriously injured in a car crash Friday morning.

Woods was driving a Cadillac SUV when he struck a fire hydrant, after pulling out of the driveway at his home around 2:30 a.m. , in Isleworth, Orange County, Florida.   The vehicle then struck a tree close by.

Wood was taken to nearby Health Central Hospital.   His injuries are said to be serious.    Currently, charges are pending.
