Attempted Robbery at First Florida Credit Union

At approximately 10:24 AM today, November 20,  the Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in reference to a robbery to the First Federal Credit Union at 3724 Edgewater Drive.

Deputies were advised that a black male between 30 and 40 years old walked into the bank and handed the teller a note announcing the robbery.  For unknown reasons the suspect turned around and walked out of the bank without obtaining any money.

At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a light colored baseball cap, a black bulky jacket, and blue jeans.  He was seen leaving the bank on foot, direction of travel unknown.  No weapon was displayed during the robbery attempt and there are no reported injuries.
