The play “Tot Mom” will come to life at the Sydney Theatre Company in Australia on December 18th. Under Director, Steven Soderbergh, a compelling drama, which is still unfolding in real life in Florida, will explore the issues associated with the murder of Tot Mom’s two-year-old daughter Caylee.

Agent Arrested in Orange County
Dwight Pinder, a special agent with Immigration and Customs Enforcement,, was arrested today October 29, 2009. Pinder is being charged with simple battery (dating statute). The female victim is known to Pinder who was waiting for her outside of her apartment at approximately 9:30 a.m. this morning. She says Pinder grabbed her and pulled on her arm, however she was able to pull away and ran off to dial 911.
Swine Flu Activity Increases, More Deaths
During the week of October 11-17, 2009, a review of the key indicators by the Center for Disease Control, found that influenza activity continued to increase in the United States from the previous week. Visits to doctors for influenza-like illness (ILI) increased steeply and was much higher than what is expected for this time of year.

Masked Gunmen Rob Burger King on I-Drive
On Thursday morning, at approximately 6:00 am, two masked black males entered the Burger King located at 5515 International Drive brandishing a gun and a knife. Both suspects jumped the counter and attempted to force the manager to open the safe. The manager was unable to do so due to it being on a time delay. The suspects then took money from both cash registers before exiting and entering a vehicle. No injuries to any employees.
UCF’s Halloween-Themed Forecast For Florida
University of Central Florida economist, Sean Snaith says that although the recession is dead, the drumbeat of mounting job losses will continue. In Snaith’s Halloween-themed forecast for Florida, he says that the unemployment rate will peak above 11 percent next year, as several sectors including, manufacturing and housing, will continue to struggle for longer that those at the national level.
