The U.S. Coast Guard on Wednesday, suspended its search for as many as 67 Haitian migrants missing near the Turks and Caicos islands. The Haitians were forced into shark infested waters after their overloaded boat capsized 2.3 miles southeast of West Caicos, Turks and Caicos Islands, Monday.

He has lived in his home for 10 years in Cambridge, has been the director of Harvard’s W.E. DuBois Institute for African and African American Research, and joined the faculty in 1991. He was arrested on July 16, 2009, at his house for disorderly conduct.
